A beautiful day for a nice walk across the Dvortsovyy Bridge (Palace Bridge) to Vasilevsky Island; the largest Island in the Neva Delta to see some of St.Petersburg’s oldest buildings. Past the Rostral Columns which are recognizable examples of Greek Revival architecture.
Walking from one side of the Island to the other! happily arrived at the Erarta Museum which opened in 2010. A unique Museum whose permanent collection includes painting, graphics, sculpture for a start and is themed by floor offering a night-time tour with flashlights.
Here are my top picks..
The Last Supper….powerful!
No…I was not part of the exhibition but it brought new meaning to “tired”.
